Mr. Chandra Prakash Srivastava, graduated in Chemical Engineering, (1974) from Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University; and subsequently graduated in Industrial Engg. From Indian Institution of Industrial Engineering and Diploma in Financial Management from University of Bombay.

Worked for over 40 years in operation of Chemical Plants and Implementation of Chemical Projects such as Somaiya Organo Chemicals Ltd (Ethyl Alcohol, Acetaldehyde and Acetic Acid Plants); Hindustan Insecticides Ltd (DDT Technical, Malathion Technical and their formulation Plants); Indian Farmers Fertilisers Co-operative Ltd (operation of Ammonia Plant/Material handling Plant , various expansion projects of Ammonia, Urea, DAP, NPK and utilities in India and joint venture Sulphuric Acid, Phosphoric Acid and utilities grassroots projects in Egypt and Jordan).

Rose to the position of Senior Executive Director (Projects) in Indian Farmers Fertilisers Co-operative Ltd; Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Indo Egyptian Fertiliser Company LLC , Egypt; and Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer (MD&CEO) of Jordan India Fertiliser Company LLC , Jordan, retired in January 2016.

Since February 2016, as an independent Management Consultant, involved with various academic and industrial activities; Adjunct Professor of Chemical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) BHU during 2017-19; Honorary Secretary of Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers (Northern Regional Centre) 2021-24; Vice-Chairman of Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers (Northern Regional Centre) 2024-26.

Published many articles related to Operation of Chemical Plants and implementation of Chemical Projects in leading journals such as Chemical Engineering World (CEW) India , Nitrogen UK etc. An article on Ammonia Plant Retrofits was awarded by The Fertiliser Association of India (FAI). Delivered lectures on Chemical Plant Operations and Project Management at various forums and institutions.
