Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers (Northern Regional Centre) organized the 'Monthly Library Day' on 07 September, 2024 at IIChE (NRC) Office, New Delhi.
Dr. S. Nand, Member, IIChE (NRC) welcomed the eminent speakers, members and participants and gave a brief introduction of the speakers.
Dr. Siddhartha Mukherjee, Honorary Secretary, IIChE (NRC) & Former Director (Technology), Air Liquide Global E&C Solutions India Pvt. Ltd., presented a paper on ''Executing a Chemical Process Plant'.
Mr. Subash Tandon, Member, IIChE (NRC) given the talk on 'Why Should we study Chemical Engineering?'
Dr. S. Nand, Member, IIChE (NRC) delivered the concluding remarks and vote of thanks.
The programme was attended by NRC EC Members and 72 students from IIT Delhi, Delhi Technological University (DTU), University School of Chemical Technology-GGSIP University-Delhi and Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science & Technology-Murthal.

Mr. C.P. Srivastava, IIChE (NRC) welcomed the eminent speakers, members and participants and gave a brief introduction of the speakers.
Dr. S. Nand, Former Additional DG, Fertiliser Association of India and Chairman, IIChE (NRC), presented a paper on “Greening of Fertilizer Production'.
Dr. Siddhartha Mukherjee, Former Director (Technology), Air Liquide Global E&C Solutions India Pvt. Ltd., presented a paper on 'Tray Column Design – from a Practicing Engineer’s Desk'.
Dr. Dhiraj Kumar Garg, Honorary Joint-Secretary, IIChE (NRC) delivered the concluding remarks and vote of thanks.
The Lecture Series was attended by NRC Members, Invitees and 71 students from Delhi Technological University (DTU), University School of Chemical Technology-GGSIP University-Delhi and Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science & Technology-Murthal.

Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers (Northern Regional Centre) organized the ‘Learning with the Leaders’ Lecture Series on 6 April 2024 at Auditorium, IIChE (NRC), New Delhi.
Dr. S. Nand, Chairman, IIChE (NRC) welcomed the eminent speakers, members and participants and gave a brief introduction of the speakers.
Dr. Ramesh Kumar Jalan, Advisor, UN Office for Information and Communication Technology, New Delhi, presented a paper on “The need for global water resource management and its impact on climate change”. Dr. Jalan mentioned about the need for global water resource management.
Mr. K.K. Sharma, Whole Time Director – EHS, DCM Shriram Ltd., presented a paper on “Low Carbon Emission Technologies”. Mr. Sharma highlighted the need to adopt low carbon emission technologies by various corporates to mitigate climate change for business sustainability.
